Martin Greaney (55) admitted the offences, which took place in various locations in Co Mayo between September 1st, 1986 and September 30th, 1989. On each charge the defendant pleaded guilty to indecent assault on a female contrary to Section 10 of the Rape Act 1981. Greaney was remanded on continuing bail to the next criminal court session at Castlebar Circuit Court on March 4th, 1997, when victim impact reports and a probation report will be available.
