http://www.archdiocese-phl.org/protection/Updates/note_ejd.htm

The Holy See has notified the Archdiocese of Philadelphia that Edward M. DePaoli was dismissed from the clerical state by the Holy Father. This action was taken in response to a finding of misconduct involving minors.

Edward DePaoli functioned as a priest of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia from 1970 to 1992, during which time he served in the following assignments:

- Our Lady of Mt Carmel Parish, Doylestown;
- Mother of Divine Providence Parish, King of Prussia;
- Bishop McDevitt High School, Wyncote;
- St. John Vianney Parish, Colonia, NJ; and
- St. John the Baptist Parish.

Removal from the clerical state means that in accord with canon law, Edward M. DePaoli is no longer incardinated in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, and he is unable to function as a priest anywhere.
