	Father Paul Vevik Inland Register April 11, 2002 Father Paul Vevik, pastor of St. Francis Xavier, Spokane, since 1994, was ordained July 9, 1977 after studies at Bishop White Seminary and the American College, Louvain, Belgium. He was associate pastor of St. Patrick, the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes, and St. Augustine parishes in Spokane before he became pastor of the parishes in Tekoa and Rockford in 1984. In 1986 Father Vevik was named pastor of Our Lady of Fatima, Spokane. In 1987 he became pastor of the parishes in Colton and Uniontown. In 1992 he was released from ministry to serve as rector of Mater Dei Seminary at Gonzaga University. In addition to his pastoral duties at St. Francis Xavier, Father Vevik has been Director of Continuing Education of Priests since June 1, 1999.
