	Rev. August J. Kita Jersey Journal June 21, 2008 NEW YORK -- Burial for the Rev. August J. Kita, SDB, 76, of New York, was Tuesday at Salesian Brothers Cemetery, Goshen, N.Y. He died June 12 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern, N.Y. He was born in Bayonne. Kita held various positions as teacher, director and pastor at many locations across the country after attending Don Bosco Novitiate in Ramsey. He was ordained in 1960 in California. He is survived by two sisters, Eleanore Kita and Rose Kita Ormsby; two nieces, Therese Romanelli and Eileen O'Hagan; a nephew, Gregory Melofchik; and two grandnephews, Thomas John and Michael O'Hagan.
