Obituary:

Brother John Paul Medvit, C.F.C. Member of the Congregation of Christian Brothers for 52 years. Served at Brother Rice High School, Leo High School and St. Laurence High School and other Christian Brothers Schools. Beloved brother of Eddie Medvit, Sharon (Everet) Ekstrom and Sharlene (Dale) Johns. Devoted uncle of Shane Ekstrom, Tami Mohler, Todd Johns, Steven Johns and Cory Johns. Visitation Friday from 4:00 p.m. until Mass of the Resurrection 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Angels Chapel at Marian Village, 15624 Marian Drive, Homer Glen. Committal Prayers Saturday 10:00 a.m. at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 6001 W. 111th Street, Alsip. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Christian Brothers, P.O. Box 42903, Evergreen Park, IL 60805 would be appreciated.
