	Archdiocese of Dubuque Appointment KWWL [Dubuque, Iowa] June 24, 2004 A new leader takes the reigns of an important office of the Archdiocese of Dubuque. Archbishop Jerome Hanus appointed Joyce Connors as the new director of the Office for Protection of Children and Young People. Connors will work with victims and families affected by sexual abuse within the Catholic church. She'll also help develop and monitor protection policies.
