	Catholic Priest Pleads Guilty WPVI [Philadelphia AP] August 24, 2004 A Roman Catholic priest agreed to plead guilty to child pornography charges on Monday, the day before his trial was set to begin, federal prosecutors said. The Rev. Matthew J. Kornacki, 57, bought child porn discs and played them on his laptop computer, according to court filings. Kornacki had pleaded innocent after he was indicted May 27. The Archdiocese of Philadelphia said then that Kornacki had been removed from active ministry in July of 2003, as soon as the archdiocese learned of the allegations. Kornacki's lawyer, Francis Recchuiti of Norristown, declined comment Monday.
