	Beth Geisel Accepts Plea Deal WTEN [Albany NY] September 26, 2005 Beth Geisel plead guilty to one of the three counts of rape listed in an indictment against her. She also pled guilty to a DWI arrest from last month, while she was out on bail. Geisel was facing up to 16 years in jail for the three counts of rape, but in a settlement deal reached Monday morning, her sentence was reduced. Starting this November, she will serve six months in county jail, with ten years probation. Geisel must also register as a sex offender. Geisel's attorney says she agreed to the plea to avoid the spectacle of a full trial. The plea prohibits Geisel from any further appeals
