  Bishop Reassigns Priests in Toledo Diocese

Bishop Leonard Blair of the Toledo Catholic Diocese has announced the following personnel assignments, effective July 1:

• The Rev. Kenneth Alt, Society of the Precious Blood, pastor of St. Michael Parish, Kalida. Father Alt is a pastor of a Cincinnati parish.

• The Rev. Krzystof Kardzis, associate pastor of St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Parish, Toledo, will be pastor of Holy Angels Parish, Sandusky.

• The Rev. Douglas Taylor, associate pastor of St. Paul the Apostle, Norwalk, will be pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, New London, and presbyteral moderator and parish chaplain of St. Mary Parish, Wakeman.

• The Rev. Melvin Verhoff, parish chaplain of St. Thomas More University Parish, Bowling Green, will be pastor of St. John the Evangelist, Delphos.

• The Rev. Todd Dominique, VF, president of Central Catholic High School, Lima, and parish chaplain of St. Mary Parish, Bluffton, will be parochial vicar of St. Wendelin Parish, Fostoria.

• The Rev. Joseph A. Weigman will be part-time chaplain of Sacred Heart Home and will join the faculty of Cardinal Stritch High School in Oregon.

• The Rev. Raymond Ensman, pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish, Port Clinton, has been granted senior status (retirement).

• The Rev. Robert Haas, pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, New London, and parish chaplain of Saint Mary Parish, Wakeman, has been granted senior status.

• The Rev. Albert B. Ceranowski, pastor of Saint Ignatius Parish, Oregon, has been granted senior status.
