The priest, who ran a homeless shelter, had two accomplices, an Italian restaurant owner and a young Romanian man, who were also arrested Wednesday in the town of Cesena. Prosecutors told the daily La Repubblica that illegal immigrants including minors who came to the shelter had to choose between prostituting themselves or being turned in to the customs authorities. The priest is alleged to have sexually abused a 16-year-old boy for nearly a year before he was "ceded" to the restaurant owner, La Repubblica said. The victims were forced to have sex with customers at the shelter who paid between €100 and €200 euros ($125 to $250 dollars) a session.
