A Former priest was yesterday jailed after police found a massive haul of child porn in a secret chamber at his mansion.

Ex - school chaplain Michael Studdert was caught when an officer pulled a coathook on his toilet wall - and a door swung open.

Sick photos, magazines and videos were stacked floor to ceiling in the vault at the 67-year-old millionaire's home in Hindhead, Surrey.

Studdert was jailed for four years at Middlesex Guildhall Crown Court in London.

His co-accused Thomas O'Carroll - who founded the now-defunct Paedophile Information Exchange - got two-and-a-half years.

They were caught in July 2005 when an undercover cop infiltrated their group.

Peter Zinner, prosecuting, said police swooped after an investigation codenamed Operation Glenlivet.

Mr Zinner said: "An officer noticed a hook opposite the toilet. When the coathook was pulled by the officer a piece of wood came out from the wall, releasing a secret door to a vault.

"The vault was an Aladdin's cave of every conceivable form of material of child pornography."

There were atleast 100,000 sickening images in the collection - 56,000 of them on Studdert's computer.

He admitted making, possessing and distributing child porn.

O'Carroll, 61, formerly of Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, admitted three counts of distributing indecent photographs of children.

Both men - who had similar previous convictions - we re put on the sex offenders' register and banned from working with children.
