A Jesuit priest who once taught at Gonzaga High School in Washington has been accused of sexual misconduct.

The allegation against the Reverend H. Cornell Bradley is being investigated by the Maryland Province of the Society of Jesus.

Bradley taught at Gonzaga from 1962 to 1965 and from 1972 to 1979. The latest allegation is from 1973. The Maryland Province says Bradley is "unable to deny" it.

Churches and schools where he taught in Baltimore, North Carolina, Philadelphia and India have also been notified.

Investigators say Bradley has acknowledged previous misconduct allegations. He was removed from the ministry in 1993 and later returned. He was removed again last year and now lives "under supervision" in a Jesuit community.

Authorities say Bradley does not face criminal charges because either the victims didn't want to press charges or the statute of limitations has run out.
