Rev. Daniel McCormack entered plea negotiations Wednesday on charges he molested five boys while pastor of St. Agatha parish on the West Side.

McCormack, 38, is charged with multiple counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. The alleged incidents happened as far back as 2001 and continued until at least 2005.

The alleged victims ranged in age from 8 to 11. McCormack's lawyers, Robert Loeb and Patrick Reardon, met with prosecutors and in the chambers of Judge Thomas Sumner for nearly an hour Wednesday to discuss a possible plea of guilty.

No deal was reached, and McCormack's next court date is May 1.
