On Thursday, March 29, Justice G. Normand Glaude, Commissioner of the Cornwall Public Inquiry, will announce his decision in respect to selection of proposals for Phase 2 research. The announcement is set for 9:30 a.m.

Phase 2 of the Inquiry's mandate focuses on creating an environment that will foster healing and reconciliation in Cornwall. Last month, Commissioner Glaude released his decision on the proposals he endorsed for funding for Phase 2 research done by parties to the Inquiry.

The announcement on Thursday is a further aspect of an action-oriented Phase 2 agenda, recommended by the Inquiry's Advisory Panel. These projects will provide additional opportunities in the areas of research, education and building of infrastructure for future service and information resources for those affected by childhood sexual abuse.
