	Franciscan Novice Faces Child Porn Charges Toronto Star [Canada] April 24, 2007 http://www.thestar.com/News/article/206409 A 24-year-old man studying to be a Franciscan priest was arrested on child pornography charges in Toronto yesterday. Police, who had been investigating online child pornography, executed a search warrant at St. Lawrence Martyr Church, on Lawrence Ave. E. near Kennedy Rd., police said. Adley Lobo, who was charged with possessing child pornography, and creating and making child porn available, has also been affiliated with St. Francis Friary in Caledon, police said. Lobo had been involved in a weekend ministry at St. Lawrence Martyr Church since last fall, said Toronto Archdiocese communications director Neil MacCarthy, but "he did not have ... direct leadership in any children's liturgy programs."
