Grand Haven - A once-trusted church worker and volunteer in Holland was sentenced Monday for three cases of criminal sexual conduct.
Eric VanderYacht, 50, will spend the next 15-45 years behind bars for his assaults against young children.

Vander Yacht apologized for his crimes at his sentencing. "I do not have enough words to say how sorry I am for the pain that I have caused so many people," he said.
He told the judge he's entered a treatment program, and asked that he be allowed to continue that program while behind bars.
