San Diego - 10News has obtained court documents from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court detailing the financial compensation made to victims of abuse from dioceses outside of San Diego.

The documents showed the Diocese of Orange settled 87 cases for $100 million. The Diocese of Oakland settled 56 cases for about $56 million.

Other documents showed the San Diego Catholic Diocese wants to settle its 160 cases for $95 million.

Victims said they are frustrated that there has been no closure for them.

"Five years of litigation and not one simple act of saying we care about you," said alleged abuse victim Guy Lowry.

A counsel for the diocese's civil affairs said, "Bishop [Robert] Brom has consistently said that the diocese will fairly and equitably settle the sexual abuse claims while not crippling the mission of the church...$95 million does that."
