	Former Priest Pleads Guilty to Sex Assault The Chronicle Herald [Canada] June 12, 2007 http://thechronicleherald.ca/Metro/840898.html Sydney — A former Roman Catholic priest in Cape Breton has admitted to another sex-related offence. A sentencing hearing for Claude Richard, 71, will be held in September. He pleaded guilty to a single count of sexual assault that dates back to 1987 in Glace Bay involving a male. A charge of gross indecency was withdrawn. Richard has already served time for previous sex offences dating back to the 1960s and '70s in Cape Breton. Richard, who now lives in Halifax, was released Monday on strict conditions.
