The offences are alleged to have happened in Nelson while the girls were aged between five and 10. The man, 72, entered no plea to six charges of indecent assault and one of inducing an indecent act. Judge Tony Zohrab declined an application for name suppression, but granted an interim suppression until Wednesday to allow the man's lawyer to appeal against the decision in the High Court.
