Thursday morning, the jury will reconvene to determine Royce Jimenez's sentence.

The Jimenez family refused to comment Wednesday evening after learning a jury found Royce Jimenez guilty on four counts of indecency with a child.

Jimenez was pastor of Light of the World Christian Church when he was arrested in May 2006. The child was a 7-year-old boy who claimed Jimenez engaged in sexual contact with him on several occasions.

Wednesday, Jimenez testified that he was alone with the boy only twice.

NewsChannel 11 has been following this story from the very beginning. In Lubbock, police reports it says the boy told his parents the pastor had taken him to a VA clinic, where they shared a bathroom stall and exchanged in inappropriate touching.

In court, Jimenez testified he used the urinal, while the boy went in a separate stall. Jimenez says the boy came over to him and said his genitals looked like his fathers. Jimenez says he told the boy that it was inappropriate to look at him.

On the stand, Jimenez adamantly denied ever engaging in any sort of sexual contact with the boy. While we were in the courtroom, the judge asked jurors to leave. At that time, we learned Jimenez had passed two lie detector tests, again claiming he never touched the boy, but that was inadmissible in trial.

Jimenez could face probation or up to 20 years in prison.
