A former youth minister already accused of molesting two boys was ordered this week to stand trial on charges in one of those cases and now faces a case involving a third youth.

David Baird, 45, of West Deer, was held for court this week on charges related to accusations that he sexually assaulted a boy numerous times starting in 1999 when the boy was 14. In June, he was ordered to stand trial on charges involving another boy.

Baird, the former youth minister of the Covenant Church of Pittsburgh in Wilkinsburg, is free on $10,000 bail.

A third person came forward Friday and accused Baird of sexually assaulting him in 2002 when he went to Baird's church to do community service through juvenile probation. Baird faces a Sept. 24 preliminary hearing in that case.
