Las Vegas — A former priest from St. Louis accused of numerous sex crimes is reportedly now living in Las Vegas. And one group wants the public to know about him.

Members of the group SNAP, Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests, want to bring attention to James Beine. They say he's now changed his name to Mar James.

In 2004 he was convicted in St. Louis exposing himself to two boys. Even though a Missouri supreme court overturned that conviction, SNAP believes he's still a danger to children.

He was a teacher in St. Louis and SNAP says they've learned Beine has applied for a teaching certificate in Nevada. "We want to sound the alarm to make sure somehow Mr. James does not slip through the cracks and find himself in front of a classroom with children," Barbara Blaine with SNAP said.

James also faced federal child porn charges back in 2003. Members of SNAP want to alert school officials here in Las Vegas of James' history.
