Roman Catholic Diocese officials in Boise say Raul Covarrubias was put on leave September 14th. Covarrubias has been pastor at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish since 1992. In a statement, Bishop Michael P. Driscoll asked parishioners to keep in your prayers Father Raul, the person who made the claim, and all victims of abuse and violence.
