The victim's side of the story begins at the Little Flower Church in 1968.

T.O. Gilstrap, an attorney for the plaintiff said the accused priest, "Sexually abused him (Gilstrap's client) in other ways that's to hard to mention."

Gilstrap said the alleged victim was 10 to 12 years old and an alter boy at the time of the attacks. He's called John Doe in court documents to protect his identity.

The alleged abuser is referred to only as Father Ochoa. Gilstrap says Ochoa came to El Paso from Mexico.

Court documents state that a young John Doe was given wine after mass then sexually abused by Father Ochoa on several occasions over a period of time.

"I can't talk about the evidence in this case but I can tell you that the client in this case is pretty messed up," said Gilstrap.

The man accused of horrible acts is now dead. It's the Catholic Diocese that's left to answer to these allegations.

Attorneys for the Catholic Diocese of El Paso did not return our calls. The diocese declined to comment because the case is currently in litigation.
