A group of people who claimed to have been sexually abused by priests are trying to get the attention of local church officials.

Members of Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, or SNAP, rallied in front of Catholic High this morning.

The group's goal is to urge people who saw, suspected, or suffered child sex crimes to come forward.

Group director David Brown claims a priest who died in the 1970's sexually abused him while he attended school in Memphis--that priest was then transferred and taught for a year at Catholic.

This man has left a wake of victims in his past," said Brown, "I've met many of them and they're more coming forward everyday…we want truth and transparency when it comes to abusive priests."

Catholic High acknowledges that the priest did teach for one year at Catholic but has no records of any misconduct.

The Catholic Dioceses says they will be responding to the claims tomorrow.

The group also wants churches to post on their websites the names of all proven, admitted and credibly accused abusive church employees living in the area.
