Providence, R.I. (WPRI) — A national research organization says it has shocking new allegations against the Providence Diocese.

The group, including three people who say they were victims of clergy sexual abuse, are holding a news conference Friday afternoon.
They are demanding a full investigation into the diocese after they say church officials admitted 125 priests have been accused of sexual misconduct in the last 35 years. That's a number much higher than had previously been reported.
