  New Information on Church Abuse Allegations

PROVIDENCE, RI - (WPRI) -- New information on a priest who formerly served in a Providence church.

Members of the "Survivors network of those abuse by priests" or SNAP, now says the priest who is a member of the dominican order has offended again, this time in western Massachusetts.

In a letter they are urging Bishop Tobin to let victims buy an ad in the diocesan newspaper warning the public about the priest. To this date, no criminal charges are filed in this most recent case. The initial charges in D-C were settled out of court.

In a statement released tonight the diocese says "All advertisements submitted to Rhode Island Catholic are subject to the newspapers discretion.
