A former Russell County minister accused of second degree sodomy was in an area courtroom Wednesday.
Chris Bennett plead not guilty. He was arrested in June.
Authorities say he had sex with a teenager three years ago, when he was on staff at the "Higher Power Outreach Church" in Phenix City.
The alleged victim is now 18 years-old. Bennett is set to be back in court November 20th.
