ST. GEORGE, Utah - A judge rejected a request that a polygamous-sect leader pay $111,000 in security costs related to his case.

The request came from St. George police and the Washington County sheriff's office. Fifth District Judge James Shumate said no, but he did order Warren Jeffs to pay $1,000 for his transfer to Utah from Nevada.

That's where he was captured in August 2006.

Jeffs was sentenced to two consecutive terms of 5 years to life in prison for rape as an accomplice.
