JACKSONVILLE, FL -- They paint a picture which will never be given in criminal court: 400 pages of sworn depositions from alleged victims of Bob Gray.

However, some of the allged victims say, they are looking ahead now to the civil suits against Trinity Baptist Church.

Dr. Bob Gray

Former Trinity pastor Bob Gray died within 48 hours of when his trial was supposed to start.

He's charged with sexually molesting children several decades ago.

Now that he's passed away and the trial won't happen the records are public.

The depositions are from 5 women and 1 man.

Prosecutors say the man would have been key to the trial because they think his testimony is especially credible.

We interviewed him exclusively last year. We'll call him, "Dave." He told us Gray would tell him he loved him.

Now we see the deposition from "Dave."

"Dave" says under oath that Gray would "have his head between my legs." He goes on to say, "He would start rubbing his face around, and he would tell me that he was praying...It progressed into him actually taking my pants down and performing oral sex."

The depositions are full of very graphic details.

Much of the content matches what the alleged victims have been telling First Coast News for more than a year now.

Another alleged victim was asked to draw Gray's office. Her drawing is part of the deposition.

She says in his office Gray penetrated her vagina with his finger. She says afterwards, "...he would file his fingers and clean them out..and then he would have this hand lotion that was Halston Z-14..."

She says he would smell his fingers afterwards and have her smell them, as well.

Gray admitted to police on tape during the detective's interview that he french-kissed little girls.

But when asked if he touched their private parts or digitally penetrated them he denied it.

That worries some of the alleged victims, who've already been called names, according to former Trinity member Pat Cassell.

She says, "They have been called liars."

Cassell is upset because she believes Trinity covered up information about Bob Gray and did not support the victims for years.

We talked with another alleged victim, who now lives in Maryland. We'll call her "Dana." She says, as well, her concern is for the alleged victims who had the worst things done to them, the alleged acts Gray denies.

Dana says some church members will never be convinced. "I think there are people that are brainwashed that you should never question authority. They're too scared to," Dana told us by phone.

Denise Greene, another alleged victim, says her hope is the civil action still pending against Trinity. She says, "Now it's the only way the truth is going to be known."

Trinity has always denied any cover-up.

No date has been set yet for a civil trial.
