LOS ANGELES - A woman who claims she was abused by seven priests — one the father of her daughter — is expected to discuss a settlement with the L.A. archdiocese today.

Lawyer Gloria Allred says Rita Milla received a check in the mail from the archdiocese today as part of the settlement.

Milla's expected to reveal how much she's getting at a news conference today.

Milla's case against the archdiocese was first filed in 1984.

A state court found in 2003 that Roman Catholic priest Valentine Tugade fathered Milla's daughter. Tamayo admitted he had sex with Milla and publicly apologized years before his death in 1999.
