LOS ANGELES—A woman who says she was sexually victimized by seven Roman Catholic priests and who had a baby by one of them has received a $500,000 settlement from the Los Angeles archdiocese.

Rita Milla, now 46, was awarded the payment Tuesday at the office of her attorney Gloria Allred in Los Angeles.

Milla's case against the archdiocese was first filed in 1984.

A state court found in 2003 that Roman Catholic priest Valentine Tugade fathered Milla's daughter.
