	Former Priest Convicted of Sex Abuse ABC December 6, 2007 http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2007/12/06/2111959.htm?section=justin A former Catholic priest has been found guilty in the Launceston Criminal Court of sexually abusing a student almost 40 years ago. Gregory Laurence Ferguson, 70, was charged with maintaining a sexual relationship with a young person under the age of 17. Ferguson was a teacher at Burnie's Marist College when the abuse happened in 1970. He will be sentenced tomorrow.
