He's accused of sexually abusing children more than 20 years ago and tonight, he's back in town.

56-year-old Thomas Flack faced a judge in Moncks Corner tonight and faced several of his accusers.

Flack was living in Asheville, North Carolina, but sheriff's officials say 24 years ago, Flack was living in Goose Creek and sexually abused six boys.

Sheriff's officials say Flack was involved with a Goose Creek church in the late 70's where he started a singing quartet with young members of the church.

"He is a religious man. He's always worked. He's always done his fair share for the community. He's always contributed," said Flack's attorney, Lauren Williams.

But police say the kind of contribution is unclear. They say Flack sexually abused six members, of that singing group over eight years.

According to this report and a victim, Flack would "take the boys to his home" where he "instructed them to enter his bedroom", drop their pants, and "fondled their genital area", because he was so called, "determining where the boy was in puberty for vocal reasons" and would not let him"leave without a kiss."

Although, Flack is currently only charged with 11 counts of lewd acts on a minor, officials say more may follow. The age of this case makes it harder to deal with.

"The hardest part for the sheriffs office is trying to find people who can corroborate stories, with the information that they give," said Berkeley County Sheriff's Office, Sergeant Geno Alteri.

Police say the ages of the victims at the time ranged from 10 years old to 14 years old. Several were there tonight, but did not want to talk about the case.

Berkeley County sheriff's officials say there is a seventh, but he is unable to testify because he lives in Germany.

Flack's attorney says he will undergo a mental evaluation while he's in custody. Berkeley County Sheriff's officials urge any one else who may be a victim to come forward.
