The Diocese of Sioux City is facing a sex abuse lawsuit.

A man claims he was molested by clergy members, and the Diocese knew about it, but did nothing.

Jeffrey Steinke says when he was growing up in Fort Dodge, Iowa his priest and a seminary student would invite boys over, get them intoxicated, force them to watch pornography, take inappropriate pictures, and molest them.

Steinke claims the seminary student, John Perdue, was ordained as a priest even though the Diocese knew of the abuse.

A statement released Thursday by the Diocese says it knows of the lawsuit. It also confirms Perdue the other priest mentioned in the lawsuit, John Kurzak, did work for the Diocese.

The Sioux City Diocese says it has no comment on anything else related to the case.
