	Retired Garda Calls for Inquiry into Donegal Sex Abuse Highland Radio April 4, 2008 http://www.highlandradio.com/news.php?articleid=000001913 A retired Garda involved in the investigation into convicted paedophile Eugene Greene is calling for an independent inquiry to be set up into child sexual abuse in West Donegal. Martin Ridge was also involved in the investigation into teacher Denis McGinley who was jailed for abusing pupils at a Donegal school. Mr Ridge says the lives of many of the victims have been destroyed because of the abuse and its cover-up. There's evidence that a number have committed suicide. Mr Ridge says there needs to be some accountability to prevent the same thing from happening on an ongoing basis.
