A support group for people sexually abused by clergy members plans to speak out about two recent lawsuits against the Sioux City Catholic Diocese.

The group called "SNAP", the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, has scheduled a Friday afternoon news conference outside the Diocese headquarters on Jackson Street.

SNAP is calling for the suspension of Father John Kurzak, who is accused of sexually abusing a Schaller, Iowa teen in the early 1980s.

The group will also call on anyone with any information about the alleged predators' crimes to come forward and call the police.
