BEAVERDALE, Pa. (AP) The Roman Catholic Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown says two more places of worship in Cambria County will close this year.

The Holy Spirit Parish in Beaverdale and its chapel in Dunlo will close because of dwindling membership and resources.

The diocese says it doesn't have enough money to replace the Holy Parish church building's roof or for parish operations.

Holy Spirit was formed in 2003 by merging parishes in Beaverdale and Dunlo.

When the Beaverdale church closes June 30, it will bring to 30 the number of parishes that have closed since 1994 in the eight-county diocese.

In February, Bishop Joseph Adamec announced plans to close four of the five churches in Johnstown's Cambria City.
