Investigators learn more about what was happening at a polygamist compound in Eldorado, Texas.

According to newly released court documents teenage girls were required to have sex in a temple after they were married at the compound.

A Texas ranger says agents also found a bed where adult men had sex with girls younger than 17.

There are also allegations of even greater abuse to the girls as well as the boys at the compound.

Action News Anchor Casey Smith talked with a woman who escaped from a similar situation 15 years ago.

Flora Jessop was raised in Colorado City, Arizona and says she suffered the abuse of the men who run the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

"It is a criminal organization that is founded on fraud and child abuse. Period," explained Jessop.

Flora Jessop says she lived the nightmare for 16 years and it has nothing to do with polygamy or religion, that is just how the cult survives by screaming religious persecution.

"The boys are given the Priesthood at 12, but boys as young as 5 and 6 are sodomized by priesthood leaders routinely because they are told this is the only way God allows boys to become men," explained Jessop.

"Because we have a whole society of true pedophiles. You see, for them it is not the sex of the victim, it is the age of the victim that turns them on," said Jessop.

It is all about submission, according to Jessop and the little girls get the worst of it.

"My sexual abuse started when I was eight. I started having sex with my dad because they believe that it is part of the training to become a wife," said Jessop.

Jessop says Utah and Arizona turn a blind eye on the sect and always have.

She sees the current events in El Dorado as a turning point.

"God bless Texas. Because Texas did in four years, what we could not get the states of Utah and Arizona to do in a 100," explained Jessop.

It is widely known that the FLDS has a lot of money behind it.

Action News asked Jessop about that and she said there are guys in Colorado City, Arizona making $32,000 a month through welfare fraud.

She says all the wives clam to be single mothers and give their welfare checks to their husbands.

Stay tuned to Action News as we watch for new developments in this investigation.
