	Man Charged with 28 Sex Offences BBC News April 18, 2008 http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/manchester/7353618.stm A 66-year-old man from Wigan has been charged with a series of sexual offences dating back to the 1960s. William Green of Cale Lane, Aspull, is charged with 28 counts of indecent assault and four counts of indecency with children in Greater Manchester. The charges follow inquiries into abuse allegations at St Bedes College in Manchester in the 1970s and 1980s. One charge also relates to alleged abuse at St Margaret Mary's Primary School, New Moston, in the 1960s. Greater Manchester Police say its investigation has been carried out with the full support and co-operation of the Salford Diocese Child Protection Commission and St Bedes College and Manchester City Council.
