CLEVELAND -- Judgment day has come for a local pastor accused of fleecing his flock of more than $400,000.

On Thursday, a jury found Reverend Artis Caver, of Bedford, guilty of theft, forgery, perjury and 20 counts of money laundering.

Caver, 56, a former pastor at Harvest Missionary Baptist Church in Cleveland, was accused of taking money from church accounts and funneling it to his failed bus company.

Caver will remain in jail until his sentencing on May 1.
