	Pastor Gets 5 Years in Prison in Sex Abuse Case Associated Press, carried in WWSB June 17, 2008 http://www.mysuncoast.com/Global/story.asp?S=8510148&nav=menu577_2_1 PENSACOLA, Fla. - A Pensacola pastor who authorities say molested a 17-year-old boy has been sentenced to five years in state prison and 10 years probation. The judge also ordered Monday that Pastor Leon Rankins III of the Restoration Full Gospel Baptist Church is required to register as a sexual predator. The 36-year-old Rankins pleaded no contest in April to two counts of lewd and lascivious battery on a victim over the age of 12. He had faced at least 12 years in prison, if convicted. More than 20 family members and supporters of Rankins filed quietly out of the courtroom after the sentencing was announced. Last April, authorities say the teen told his parents that the minister had been molesting him for two years.
