TUSCALOOSA | A former Bibb County pastor accused of having sex with an underage girl faces additional charges in Tuscaloosa.

Timothy Fulgham, 40, waived a preliminary hearing in Bibb County District Court on Tuesday on charges of second-degree rape, second-degree sexual abuse and enticing a child for immoral purposes, said Bibb County Assistant District Attorney Tim Evans.

Fulgham was arrested in March on those charges, which stem from events that are alleged to have occurred last year.

While he was at the courthouse Tuesday, investigators with the Alabama Bureau of Investigation served him with similar charges for events that allegedly occurred with the same victim in Tuscaloosa. Those charges include second-degree sodomy, second-degree sexual abuse and enticing a child for immoral purposes.

He was released from the Tuscaloosa County Jail on $85,000 bail.

Fulgham, of Randolph, was pastor at River of Life Church of God in Centreville for about four years before he resigned in August 2007.
