A St Louis couple stopped in the area Monday to speak out against a former Somerset Catholic priest who was arrested earlier this month and charged with child abuse in Maryland.

56-year old Aaron Joseph Cote has been accused by authorities of sexually molesting a Maryland boy, who attended the church where Cote served as youth minister. Today, Steven Spaner and his wife Judy Block-Jones rallied in Somerset to raise awareness.

"The biggest goal is we're reaching out to other victims. We're looking for other victims. There is help," says Judy Block-Jones of the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests.

Jones is director of the Steubenville, Ohio Chapter of the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests or SNAP. Reaching out to victims of abuse has personal meaning to her.

"About 20 years ago, I learned that my brother was abused by our parish priest who lived there for 50 years. I couldn't stop thinking about it," says Jones.

SNAP is holding a meeting at Crossroads Library in Cambridge Monday from 5:30 until 8pm. The meetings are held the second Monday each month, and are open to the public.
