Had been accused of sexual abuse
( Cincinnati ) A retired priest of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati has been returned to ministry after Archbishop Daniel Pilarczyk found "not sufficient substanstiation of the allegations to warrant sending the case to the Vatican or continuing Fr. Stricker's administrative leave."

A man had reported in 1993 that Fr. Stricker had sexually abused him in the 1950's when he was an associate pastor at St. William Parish in Price Hill. Stricker denied the allegation. Stricker had been placed on administrative leave since May when new information was submitted from the same man.
The same evidence was handed over to legal authorities and the Archdiocese's Child Protection Review Board. There have been no other allegations against Fr. Stricker.
