A Baltimore County woman along with two other women became Catholic priests Sunday. Of course, the Roman Catholic church has a long-standing prohibition against female priests. But the group of three held an ordination ceremony in Boston Sunday morning at a Presbyterian church, defying the Vatican's ban. Baltimore Native Gloria Carpeneto, along with the other two women, said they decided to ordain themselves because they have a heartfelt calling to be priests. The Vatican has threatened to ex-communicate them.
