	Former Kimberton Pastor Accused of Sex Assault Pottstown Mercury July 28, 2008 http://www.pottstownmercury.com/site/news.cfm?newsid=19875253&BRD=1674&PAG=461&dept_id=662715&rfi=6 A former principal of St. Pius X in Lower Pottsgrove has been accused of sex assault, according to the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. The Rev. Gerard J. Hoffman allegedly abused a minor more than 30 years ago and has been suspended from his current post at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Doylestown, the archdiocese said in a press release. Hoffman also was a resident priest at St. Basil the Great church in Kimberton.
