This Time the Victim Charges a Different Priest, the Late Rev.Edward Carley, with Abuse

The lawsuit was filed in New Castle County Superior Court against the Diocese of Wilmington and St. Ann's Church.

The 61-year old victim, whose name wasn't released, charges Carley with abusing him at least 100-times from 1958 to 62. The abuses began when he was 11 years old.

Attorney Tom Neuberger says Carley is an admitted pedophile priest with a 34 year history of sexually abusing young children. "This victim joins Doug McClure, a victim, who was violently raped and sexually abused, by Carley, beginning at age 8, also at St. Ann's Church, a few years earlier."

McClure's case against Carley goes to trial in April, 2009.

Father Carley died in 1998.
