	Catholic Church Appoints Qc to Investigate Claims against Priest ABC News August 31, 2008 http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2008/08/31/2351072.htm The Catholic Church in Adelaide has appointed a senior QC to investigate allegations against a prominent priest. In a statement the Catholic Archbishop of Adelaide, Philip Wilson, says he has asked Father John Fleming to return to Adelaide from Sydney where he works at a Catholic college. It is understood the police are looking into allegations dating back to the 1970s. Father Fleming was a prominent Anglican priest and media commentator before becoming a Catholic in 1987.
