	Ex-priest Daniel Herek Sentenced to More Time in Jail Action 3 News September 5, 2008 http://www.action3news.com/Global/story.asp?S=8960354&nav=menu550_2 Omaha, NE - Former Catholic Priest Daniel Herek is going to stay behind bars for a while longer--this time, for violating his probation. He's already serving a 4-month sentence for indecent exposure and lewd conduct, for masturbating in the Crossroads parking lot in September 2005. A judge today tacked 6 months onto that sentence because Herek violated probation from an earlier case when he was convicted for the Crossroads incident. Herek was convicted in 1999 of molesting a 14-year-old altar boy. He was sentenced to five years in prison and five years probation. Reported by Kathy Sarantos Niver, kathy@action3news.com
